It is our pleasure to announce a new project of the Center for Women’s Studies in BelgradeIDEAS Inclusive Digital Educational Anti-discrimination AlternativeS. Over a two year period, six partner organizations from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Iceland and Serbia will conceptualize and record 35 podcasts which will enable different women and other vulnerable groups to gain feminist knowledge.  

It is our pleasure to announce a new project of the Center for Women’s Studies in Belgrade – IDEAS Inclusive Digital Educational Anti-discrmination AlternativeS. Over a two year period, six partner organizations will conceptualize and record 35 podcasts which will enable different women from vulnerable groups to gain feminist knowledge. This educational program will make feminist knowledge accessible and contribute to the empowerment of multiply marginalized groups, especially women.

Through the podcasts, our listeners will be able to learn about the history of the women’s movement, feminist theories, their bodies and sexuality, LGBTIQ+ persons. Also, they will have an opportunity to gain insights into the experiences of Roma women, the lives of migrant women, the connection between feminist and ecological struggles, theory of social reproduction, women’s labor rights and the issue of politics and the political. The podcasts will utilize various innovative methods in order to help the listeners gain a better understanding of the above mentioned topics.

The partners on this project are: the Center for Women’s Studies from Belgrade (lead partner); Charles University from Prague; Colour Youth from Athens; Haskoli Islands University of Iceland from Reykjavík; Centre for Women’s Studies from Zagreb and IPAK - Research Centre for Culture, Politics and Identities from Belgrade. The project is funded by the EU, within the Erasmus+ program, while the implementation partner is the Tempus foundation in Belgrade.
