21. November 2023.The Boiling Point: Towards a Feminist Utopia
24. November 2023.The Center for Women’s Studies in partnership with the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has conducted qualitative research within the project “Countering gender backlash in Serbia – experiences of feminist and queer activists”.
The aim of the research was to map anti-gender policies and understand the factors that shape organizing, alliances and stratification within the feminist and queer movements. The special focus is on the narrowing of the democratic space and the pandemic period in contemporary Serbia. The research team of the Center for Women’s Studies collected and analyzed media materials and semi-structured interviews with activists.
The research results are published in the form of a scientific article in the CM: Communication and Media Journal. A practical policy proposal was developed by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
