The Center for Women’s Studies has published the comic “Boiling Point: Towards a Feminist Utopia”. The publication is a part of the project “Future in the Classroom of the Center for Women’s Studies.”
The project’s goal was to bring the work of the Center for Women’s Studies closer to the wider community, especially to a younger generation. The goal was further to create a bridge between everything achieved so far and our aspirations for the future. Feminist education provides us with methods for collective action, teaching us solidarity as the only way to collectively organize and fight against existing oppressive systems.
The creation of the comic was preceded by research conducted by collaborators Ana Krstić and Marijana Stojčić from the Center for Women’s Studies. This knowledge helped us in further developing the content of the comic. The comic is designed in the form of a feminist triptych written by dramaturges Mina Milošević and Borisav Matić. The illustrations and layout were done by the artist Danica Jevđović.
