From Theory to Practice in the Feminist Movement

From October 26 to October 29, an education session titled “From Theory to Practice in the Feminist Movement” took place in Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia).

The education session was attended by 19 women. The goal of the education session was to connect young activists. The session included theoretical lectures on the Yugoslav experience in the fight for women’s rights and labor rights. It also involved practical/interactive workshops aimed at reflecting on models of organization in the present.

After the education session, the activists were divided into four groups, and over the next month and a half, each group will carry out a feminist action with the mentoring support of the Center for Women’s Studies and the Alternative Center for Girls.

The education session was conducted in partnership with the Alternative Center for Girls and supported by the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation.
